Nanny Needed Downtown for One Year Old
A lovely young family in Greenwich Village needs a caring, confident, capable Nanny for their sweet 1 year old baby girl. This little one is happy and easy going! She’s on a great sleep schedule, transitions with ease and loves music classes already! The ideal candidate for this role is seeking a long term commitment and has steady recent experience with this age. She can assist and support mom and dad with transitioning their little one to solids and help them navigate the stages ahead. Open and appreciative of gentle guidance from those more experienced, they hope for a respectful and reciprocal relationship where their preferences are heard and valued. Nanny should take initiative with planning and structuring a developmentally appropriate and engaging day for this little one. Parents appreciate a ‘can do’ attitude, open and ongoing communication and updates throughout the day. An easy going, warm and friendly disposition and positive energy are truly hoped for. The general schedule is 8am-3:30/4:30pm Mon-Fri with 2 mornings beginning at 7am. Ability to provide evening coverage on occasion would be a terrific plus as would a willingness to travel with the family in the future- no pending trips. Responsibilities are mainly child related overseeing all aspects of child care, healthy meal prep and maintenance of her spaces and belongings. Also appreciated would be a willingness to wash and fold family laundry and make the parents bed as they are up and out so early. First Aid and CPR can be renewed upon hire if lapsed. No driving, no pets and pay commensurate with experience in the range of $20-$25 hour.
